Velashtra, the Blooded Queen, is the unrelenting embodiment of war unshackled by honour. Where Kaelros teaches strategy and loyalty, Velashtra exults in the ecstasy of battle, the roar of chaos, the scent of iron, and the intoxicating surge of power when life and death hang by a thread. She is both battle’s muse and its curse: the fire that drives mortals to conquest and the madness that consumes them when victory becomes addiction.
Legends claim Velashtra was once Kealros’ most loyal general, born of his ambition and sharpened by his restraint. But she rebelled, finding beauty in destruction for its own sake. Their conflict is one of the oldest divine schisms, order against chaos, honour against hunger. It’s said that when the two gods clash, their wars echo across mortal planes as centuries of bloodshed.
Velashtra’s temples are rare but unmistakable. They are built of dark stone streaked with red, adorned with weapons offered by her followers. In cities, her shrines lurk beneath fighting pits and arenas, where combatants bleed in her name. In the Ashen Expanse, nomadic warbands carve her sigil into their shields before battle, praying not for survival but for a glorious death.
Her priests, called the Crimson Veil, are both chaplains and warmongers. They bless armies before battle, anointing warriors with the blood of foes or beasts. To them, every act of conflict is worship, every fallen foe an offering.
